This is a full time position. Duties include teaching at bachelor, graduate and post-graduate levels in the field of cognitive neuroscience and neuropsychology of language, as well as the direction of master’s and doctoral theses. The successful candidate will be required to develop a research program at a national and international level in the domain of the offered position and to obtain external funding. She/He will also participate in administrative duties at the level of the Section of Psychology and the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences. This position is part of the NCCR Evolving language to which it is expected that the candidate will actively contribute.
PhD in neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or equivalent.
The successful candidate will have proven research experience in the domain of the neuroscience of language, certified by scientific publications, and preferably previous experience in research funding. She/He will also have some experience in teaching university courses in the field of cognitive neuroscience of language, and in supervising students (Master’s level and/or PhD). Yet, the successful candidate will have to interact in French with the public, students, study participants, etc. The ability to acquire a working command of French within the first two years is, thus, required.
