Full professor (100%) in data science
Job description: The successful candidate will teach various courses at the Bachelor and Master’s levels (7 hours/week all year long), mainly in the Master of Science in computer science BeNeFri (Bern, Neuchâtel and Fribourg) as well as in other curricula. The candidate is expected to establish an internationally recognized research program in computer science, in the field of data science. He/she will supervise master’s and doctoral theses and participate in the administrative tasks of the institute and the Faculty of Science. Courses are taught in English (MSc) and French (BSc). For a non French-speaking person, this requires a commitment to have a sufficient fluency in French within one year.
Requirements: Applicants must hold a doctorate in computer science, an internationally recognized research record and have strong teaching skills.
Starting date: August 1st, 2021 or upon agreement.
